Great story and you are related my Pingu tv. I feel like that, when I watch it too. Christmas' past. There's alot of things happened since then. (sigh) Getting old. lol. Just as the tale of Jesus Christ is so lasting and brings faith to so many humans across this globe for me this tale has always brought a little faith to me as well. I dare never to share my beliefs but try to emulate Christ's lessons as best I know how. This tale always touched me deeply as a tiny child and even brought tears of joy to my eyes and today I experienced those same tears of joy at the end! Thank you for sharing this with us. Elizabeth.

Where is the setting of the story the happy prince by Oscar Wilde. What a touching story. Can't get enough. The soundtrack is perfect. I could go on and on... I love this Cartoon. Truth be told, 1st time I saw it I was stoned. That 70 (s) high that was so good. It took nothing away from the story. I now view every couple of weeks just to experience something decent. I bought this book for my niece & nephew and made sure both my son & daughter experienced it. What a nice story and just what a person who just turned 60 needed in his life. The Happy prince hotel.

This is a really amazing collaboration between animators/producers/singers and an author they never met. Oscar Wilde (intentionally) didn't put much any character details in about what the North Wind, Hail, etc. should look like, but the animators brought them to life brilliantly. And the children, too, of course. I first saw this as a 15-year old who was trying to learn to draw and it made quite an impression. It made me want to be an animator. Cant believe this one made me cry. The happy prince class 9. I wish they put more emphasis on the fact that he was Irish, he sees very English in this. What Can I Say. I Cried, I Cried, I Cried. This Is The Best Story That I Have Ever The Golden- Hearted Prince And The Bird. What A Beautiful Relationship. I Was So Touched By It. Watching The Lord. Sending The Angels. To Bring Him A Gift{s} Of Love. It Was Joyous. This Story From The Heart. A True One. I Really Liked This One. It Was Based On A Special Love. Between A Human-Heart. And An Animal-Bird. What A Love. But, It Had An Happy Ending. But, Only A Sinless Man Can Enter Heaven. But, That's Another Story. And, This Will Be One Of My Best Favorite Stories Of All Time. So, You Have A Blessed Life.
Such a wonderful story so beautifully animated with 2 great songs by the King's Singers and the ending always brings tears to my eyes. What is the conflict in the happy prince. COLIN. I HOPE HE FINALLY GETS THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES. I'VE WAITED SINCE MERLIN. I DON'T NECESSARILY FEEL LIKE THIS MOVIE IS WHAT WILL DO IT, BUT HE SEEMS SO CLOSE ( ﾟ ﾟ)＜. Lastt scenes is so emotional. Thank you. A story from a time long ago. I saw it 45 years ago and have never forgotten it. Its redemptive message is so innocent and pure that I show it to my son every Christmas season. It's a tradition now. Once as a child, woke up Christmas Day, opened my presents with my family and turned on the TV. This is what I saw. I was just 8 yrs of age but was captured by this movie for life! I love the music so much.
